Returns & Cancellations
Thacher wines are crafted with low intervention and all native ferments that are created in the vineyard and stored in a controlled cellar from aging to bottling until loaded onto a delivery truck. We also utilize a fulfillment center to ensure that our wines are stored in a temperature-controlled environment and are hand-packed. We do everything we can to get them to you in prime condition. We use UPS ground and GLS ground unless another carrier is requested.
If you find that any bottle(s) are broken, don't hesitate to get in touch with info@thacherwinery.com within 48 hours of arrival so we can initiate a timely claim and a replacement. Please keep the original package and package contents. We will arrange to have the wine picked up and replaced in most cases. Return claims due to a defect in the product will be handled on a case-by-case basis. We cannot accept returns damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment or wine ordered in error. Returns cannot be processed after 10 days.
Please keep in mind:
- Will-call members have 60 days to pick up club shipments at the winery. Will-call orders not picked up will be shipped at the club member's expense.
- Shipments returned to the winery after three delivery attempts will be billed a return fee and an additional shipping fee for re-shipping.
- Any changes to wine choices, shipping dates, or delivery addresses must be made before the billing date via the online portal or by email.
- An adult signature is required for delivery.
- You authorize Thacher Winery to charge your account for wine and shipping (unless you choose to pick up the wines).
- Membership may be canceled anytime after your first two shipments and at least 30 days before the month of the subsequent shipments; please check the release page for the schedule.
- Late cancellation requests made after time of billing could incur a 15% restocking fee.
